Notifications are only expanded when they're the top entry in the window. So if you wanted Google Play expanded when you open the notification window, it has to be the very top notification. Since it's at the bottom in the screenshot, it won't expand until you manually expand it.

Google Play shows the back button when the notification is expanded, otherwise you just get play and skip.

That's strange, I'll try to think of something. Can I ask quick how you got the alarm in the notification tray like that? Is it stock?

Is there a priority option in the settings of the app? If so, set to maximum.

The first notification is on top, then subsequent notifications go under it, and there's no way to change the order.

I'm not sure since I don't use Touchwiz, but I think you have to pinch to manually expand notifications in the stock ROM.

Yea, most, if not all ongoing notifications are not expandable

Only certain apps have that, like wakey, which allows you to disable via expanding

Sent from an orange potato......no, really

Two-finger slide downwards to expand each individual notification.
PLEASE, when asking for help provide as much information as possible. We can't help unless we know what the symptoms are and what you did before they began.
