Requesting a livewallpaper

Hi guys,

I've seen videos on youtube about the Wind Turbine livewallpaper that comes preinstalled into the galaxy series and I think it's realy cool. I have downloaded couple of apks from various websites but they are either outdated or don't work on my Nexus 4... Can someone be kind and extract the apk from their phone and uploaded it somewhere so I can download it?

It's not a live wallpaper. Just a picture of a Wind Turbine.

Not true it is a live wallpaper but I don't know how to extract it sorry

There is an app on google play called airdroid that allows you to download apps installed on your phone into your computer. However, I am not really sure if it allows you to extract system apps but you can try if you have the time.

What version of the GS3 do you have? Does this wallpaper appear under "Wallpapers" or "Live Wallpapers" when you select it? Are you using a 3rd party launcher? Are you rooted, and have removed or frozen any apps that might affect wallpaper? Do other live wallpapers work on your phone?

I have the AT&T version. The Wind Turbine appears under "Wallpaper". I'm running stock, never rooted. I've used other "live wallpaper" in the past, namely Earth Rot.

I wonder if it's an AT&T thing. On my (Sprint) GS3, this is under Active Wallpapers, not Wallpaper.

More likely no one knows how to get it. This isn't a stand-alone apk as far as I can determine. It's buried in some system file, and would have to be extracted. I don't know how to do that.

This might help. The official name of the wallpaper is "Windy Weather." some google searches turned up this, from the Galaxy S2. It might work on the Nexus.
