Punctuation for voice to text

I send text messages using voice to text. How do I input different punctuation in my messages. I tried "period" and that works, but what about others, like "question" or "exclamation" ?

Also, How do I get the voice to text message to print the word - "Period" - not "."?

Just use the full name of the punctuation. For your examples, you would use "question mark", exclamation point". As far as getting it to type "period" as opposed to adding a ".", I don't have an answer. I usually just select the "." and tell it to change it to the word.
