While trying to download apps from Play, I can't do so and I see that message appear. I can't install apps from the SD card either, with it saying "Out of Space".

I HAVE OVER 11 GIGS FREE ON THE INTERNAL AND 13 FREE ON THE SD CARD.

I have cyanognemod 10 on my GS3. I have tinkered with apps like apps2SD, ROM manager, cachemate, and ROM toolbox among others prior to getting this problem, but I don't think they caused it...did they?

I removed Play and can't reinstall it from the SD card...because it says Out of Space.

I'm getting extremely frustrated. Please help.

I've run into the same issue on my s3 and my note 10 would like to find a solution to this.

Download "lucky patcher". Install. Run "patch to android" inside lucky patcher.

How did you remove Play Store?

Well, APPS2SD is a no-no on ICS and later; I'm not familiar with Cachemate. ROM Manager and ROM Toolbox shouldn't be an issue.
What does your Storage view look like? I don't know if CM allows access to all of the internal memory for apps, or only a portion of it, so just because there's internal memory still available doesn't necessarily mean anything.
How many apps do you have installed?
You could try uninstalling a few apps and then reinstall the Google Play Store (although it's strange that it would have been removed to begin with).

In some cases certain apps would successfully download. I downloaded Link2SD and set the download designation as "automatic". That fixed it.

These are Insufficient Memory of the device. I can't install app from the SD card either. I don't know it.

Have you many backups? I know I filled up a device pretty quick doings some heavy romming with multiple backups per day.
