    Default Photo recovery?

A couple days ago, I took my son sledding and took some awesome pictures. When I got home I wanted to put the pictures on the computer and do some editing to them except, they are gone! I generally use a camera but for this trip I decided to give my phone a try! I have been letting the camera save the pictures so they were on internal storage. Is there any way that I can recover these photos? I am not a very tech savvy person. I have the Stellar Phoenix Photo Recovery but I cannot connect my phone and have it recognize the internal storage, it only recognizes the SD card which is not where the pictures were. I have not been using the camera or the phone much for that matter because if it is possible to recover them, I don't want to overwrite them. The phone is not rooted. Like I said, I am not very tech savvy so I'm hoping someone on here can help me out.
    Thanks.

Ok first have to determine if your issue is with the phone or your PC. On your phone check the "Gallery" there should be folders there, look in all of them and tell me if you can find your photos.

*****Also, open the camera app up and click on the settings icon (gear wheel). Scroll down to "storage" and let us know what it says there.

They are not in the gallery on the phone. I have looked in all the folders in the gallery. In the settings the storage says memory card, however, when I open the camera up the tips icon says that single shots will be saved to the memory card and burst shots will be stored to the phone. Some of the pictures were taken in burst mode.

    You could try this:
You may also want to use the "My Files" app to look through the contents of the internal memory and SDCard, although normally the Gallery app will scan all of the normal locations. You don't have much to lose at this point.

When I encounter problems like this that i am not sure, I'd like to get some tutorial which contains step by step info to help me. I came across Samsung recovery tutorial below when I need to recover my deleted photos from my Samsung galaxy phone:

The tutorial helped me successfully get back my deleted photos. It's easy to follow and no technical skills needed at all. So I recommend that you take a look and good luck!

Usually deleted data can still be recovered with help of data recovery software, I may recommend you one I have used before: . It is designed for recovering deleted data by mistake.
