I have an uloacked samsung galaxy S3 on branded AT&T. Went through all 5 pages, tried every APN on here. This is the only one that allowed me to send/receive MMS and still have everything else work right.

Re: Straight talk apn settings for at&t samsung galaxy s3

I am about to change from iPhone 4 to Samsung Galaxy S3. I have my iphone 4 on Straight Talk and had these same issues for about 2 months. Then one day I found a setting on Apples forums that worked, and it even gave me a notice that said "New Network settings available. Download Now?" If you get this, say yes. Otherwise your phone wont work. Now, here is my question for you. When I get the Galaxy, can I simply take my SIM card out of the iPhone and put it in the Galaxy, then change the settings and everything will work. Or must I call ST to have them program the phone still?

Final update. Seems like everything is working now. I can send and receive both SMS and MMS to all users. Word of note, Straight Talk told me to make sure the iPhone user has iMessage turned off and that they are using all 10 digits of my phone number when texting me. Tested and worked. Here are my final working settings:

Name: STRAIGHT_TALK
APN: tfdata

Make sure APN Type is entered exactly as I typed it, with no spaces after the commas. Good luck.

Re: Straight talk apn settings for at&t samsung galaxy s3

ok people, there is only 1 answer............download the straight talk apn settings app from the play store!!! I was on here reading and changing apn settings, forever. Downloaded this app, i am getting pics now and took me maybe, 5 mins!! its just that easy. i am using unlocked att samsung galaxy s3 converted to straight talk w/sim. I do beleive one of the app comments was it didnt work if your phone did not have sim, but i would try it anyways, maybe they have updated it, it is free!!

This worked for my Android Mini N900. Thank you so much. Straight Talk kept giving me the wrong settings. Did it on my own (with your help too) and feel amazing :)! Only thing is, For APN type: default, supl, mms, and wap. Didn't have hipri.
