Normal video out of the GS3 is 30FPS.

It's also very important if you want to pull key frames out of the video. Where 30 FPS would skip the frame you'd really want, 60 FPS may have it.
If they had backported slow motion video recording (720*480 or higher resolution), this would be less of an "want," but they didn't. Those iPhones are actually looking really good now that they have 60 FPS recording (120 for the 5S). I think a lot of coaches and atheletes who have Android devices will start dropping them to get that. That capability, and those apps, are a pretty big deal around here.
