I cracked my screen pretty bad. It still shows me the home screen to put my password but it won't let me swipe my password. Is it just the screen that needs to be replace?

Possibly the digitizer as well for touch input.

The glass, OLED display and digitizer are best replaced as one assembly. The three parts are glued together, and while it's possible to separate them, it's difficult to do without damaging the components.
