Galaxy S3 - Blue tooth music app stops

I have an S3 that pauses when using blue tooth in my truck. The music apps that access my own music are fine but Iheartradio, slacker etc will all pause periodically. Since the truck is new I thought I should take it in and have the Blue Tooth checked but I see many people have the same problem. It doesn't seem to matter where I am. It will stop even if my truck is stopped at a light sometimes. I have checked all the settings and don't know why it does this. Also, when I use voice activated commands the phone will start my music player instead of the Iheartradio app sometimes even though I don't have the music app running.

You're sure that this isn't a Mobile data issue? If you just forget Bluetooth and stream the same content and let it play out of the phone speaker, you don't have this problem?
