Default Galaxy S3: Phone has just gone crazy since updating to 4.3

    Hi Guys,

I just updated my S3 to 4.3 (my network is 3 - UK) and the phone is so slow! All programs crash after a few minutes of going onto them. I keep getting messages like "unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped".

Also I have no mobile network!! Everytime I click on mobile data is tells me to "insert an active sim to access network" but when I put the sim in my brothers phone the sim works.

I really don't want to do a factory reset as I have a lot of internal things saved such as pics and whatsapp conversations that I really need!

    Please can anyone help me?

Is it possible to go back to 4.2?

I feel like I want to cry!

    Help someone.... please!

Let's try something really quick first. Clearing cache in recovery. This will not delete any data, but get rid of some system files that might be getting in the way of the new ones.

A reset may be required. Plug the device in to your PC, and see how much you can transfer over.

You should be able to use Kies (you'll need to install v3) to backup most everything.
WhatsApp stores its own backup in the cloud.
