I am trying to use the S3 dial command. However, when I press the S button twice it says "another using application using the mic".

How do I figure out what application is using the mic so I can turn it off?

Please let me know. Thanks.

I'm not sure which cache the previous poster was referring to. Maybe the Phone app, which can be found in the Application manager under the ALL tab.

Perhaps if you reset the app preferences it'll take care of the issue - go to Settings -> More (if using the Tab view) -> Application manager -> press the Menu button -> select 'Reset app preferences'
