Hi,
I accidentally got some water on my phone screen (not a lot) and i dried it right away. There was, however some water inside the phone when i removed the back and i dried that as well. The phone was turning off and turning on fine, and the home button was also working. However after a few mins of using it, the touch screen stopped working...it would work, then not work and then it stopped working completely...by this i mean it was unresponsive to my touch. I removed the phone parts and placed it in rice (its been in rice for an hour now?. Is there a chance it will work again? Also, if it doesn't, what kind of a replacement do I need and how much would it cost? Thank you for your time, I really appreciate it.

Welcome to the forums!

There is a chance. The longer you leave it in the rice (be sure the container is sealed) the better. Most people have problems because they're impatient and only leave it for a few hours, or keep turning it on. As the previous poster noted, at least a couple of days.

If subsequent problems are just with the screen you could replace the screen assembly for ~$120 - here are a couple of sources:

You may find it more worthwhile to invest that in a new Moto X, Moto G or Nexus 5...
