I got a refurb S3 as a Best Buy replacement a few months ago and the power button is flush to the phone. It works but it is hard to press in my Otterbox case. The button is also loose.

Can I fix it by unscrewing the back cover? Would it void my Best Buy warranty? I do not want to get a replacement (again) as it is a pain to set up a new phone. Thanks!

Sounds like a question you should ask of the Best Buy personnel.

You'd probably have to unscrew the chassis to get at the Power button effectively. I'd also vote for getting another replacement.
