straight talk says 3g, my phone says lte?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but... After u use a certain amount of data, ST says you move down to 3g, but my GS3 still says 4g lte. So what am I really working with here? Please and Thank You!

I'm not a StraightTalk customer so this may be totally off base, but it's possible that they mean they are throttling you to 3G data speed (i.e. slow) but not necessarily a 3G data signal.
Hopefully you'll get a response from someone in the same boat.

Thank you. That's kinda what I thought. It's there any way around this? I've rooted my phone and am only using extras from xposed framework.
