I have a Samsung S3. Software Version 4.3. I find the software unstable. Features are switched off (and on) without my intervention. Frequently the touch screen does not respond until I Zoom in. Battery charging is spasmodic. Somtimes it will re charge in a few hours other times it barely charges 25% overnight and other times it actually discharges whilst on charge. I do check the connections and ensure that it is correctly plugged.
I recently replaced the battery so this is not the problem.
My son has just purchased an S6 with Android Version 5 and tells me that the phone performs fast and none of the above problems.
Is it a case of Ver 4.3 just being full of bugs and the only solution is to chnage the software (not possible without the agreement of the phone provider - in my case Optus)
