Samsung Galaxy s3 black screen of death
I have a galaxy s3 through straight talk. It got wet. Immediately submerged the phone in rice overnight. After putting battery back in the phone would turn on with a quick flash of samsung on the screen and then go black. You can hear it working but nothing on the screen. If you try to place into recovery mode it s still black but functions with full screen in download mode. I have replaced battery, smacked power button, factory reset, uploaded firmware, down a power cycle, etc. Nothing seems to work in getting out of black screen. I have downloaded kies and odin on my computer. If there are any other suggestions, please let me know. I have only had the phone since May and it was bought new. I lost the reciept and have taken the phone apart to do a water damage cleaning on it so it is no longer under any warranty
