Factory reset on samsung galaxy s3 and now I can't get pass set up

I had to do a hard factory reset on my S3 which had the latest system, now I keep getting the error message "Unfortunately google play services has stopped working" when I'm trying to select a language in the start up and whenever I try to press next I can't and the message keeps popping up.
I've tried everything I could find such as bring up the system recovery and clear cache, do another factory reset and reboot it.
Nothing works and I can't use my phone.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Try the link below. It sounds like your system image is corrupt somehow. You might have to reload the factory image.
