Work on T-Mobile/Family Talk?

I have unlocked an AT&T phone before for a friend to use on her Family Talk mobile account since they pretty much will use any T-Mobile phone. I have not found anywhere online where anyone has even done this with the Active for T-Mobile so it has me worried?

Family Talk runs on the TMOBILE Network... just go to tmobile and ask them to unlock it... It will work just fine...

AT&T Phones will only work some of the time
