I've had my Active for under a year. I had problems with it, and ATT replaced it, but the radio was bad, and there was no wi-fi. So I had it replaced again, and it worked for a while, but then would not connect to wifi. So, ATT replaced it again. Latest one worked like a charm for a couple of months. I would wake up in the morning and all my emails synched overnight without my having to do any additional manual sync. Wifi worked like a charm. But after a couple of months, the email does not sync automatically like it did, and I must sync manually.
The sync schedule is set for "every 15 minutes" for "yahoo" accounts, and "automatic (push)" for gmail accounts, but the phone never syncs on its own...I must do it manually.
Is this a common problem? Is there something I'm missing? My email accounts are google and yahoo, so it should not be a mystery...
