Wrong password - correct one entred

My friend received a Samsung s4 mini, We loaded Facebook, Yahoo Mail and bbm. When we tried signing in to Facebook and Yahoo we kept getting "wrong password" eventhou the password entered is the correct one, we could log in on the pc. We were able to successfully load and use BBM. What could be the problem?

You could try installing a different keyboard. I don't know if it's the same issue but on a device I have the keyboard can print different characters than the ones I type.
