I bought this phone about two months ago on a two year contract. After about four weeks I noticed a purple blob appearing at the side of the screen but everything else was fine. Now this has gone, but the screen is now so bright that even on minimum brightness setting unless I set a black background and wallpaper, I can't see anything. There is very little colour contrast but I cannot find a way to change this. I reset the phone, but this didn't help - I downloaded the Screen Adjuster app and this helped a bit with the brightness but not the contrast, but I lost it when I reset and now the screen is so bright I can't see the buttons to press to install it.
How can I fix this? Not looking forward to either a massive cancellation fee or 22 months with a phone I can't use.
