I have purchased a new S4 mini running android 4.4.4 and am trying to synch contacts from MS outlook 2007 running on a windows XP SP3.
I've downloaded kies3. This runs OK, once I had found the right driver.
Before synching I had a major edit of the outlook contacts, updating and clearing out deadwood.This left me with 270 contacts
I then deleted all the contacts on the phone and did a fresh synch,selecting direction as apply to device only. This loaded 243 contacts.
I couldn't see why they hadn't all gone so I decided to try again. I deleted all contacts on phone and resynched, again apply to device only.
This time no contacts went over.
I'm guessing it may be because the deletion on the phone is flagged as more recent than the creation of the contacts on outlook.
Any suggestions of how I can get my contacts over to the phone ?
