So my phone was doing a continuous boot loop then I tried the power button and didn't realize I was holding volume down but after that it won't turn on no matter what I do. I thought it might be the battery because the battery was pretty much dead when doing it, I've tried replacing the battery and it still will not turn on - doesn't vibrate or show anything, just BSOD.

Any ideas what the problem could be?.

Can you charge your replacement battery or otherwise verify it's full? What happens when you plug in charger with (a) old, and (b) replacement battery in phone?

Welcome to Android Central! Assuming the battery is fully charged, press and hold the Power button for at least 10-15 seconds to see if it powers on.
