Re: Snapdragon 600 version of the S4 heading for UK
Does this mean the Snapdragon will be in the UK carrier-locked S4 only?
In other words, will I still be able to buy the international unlocked Exynos-wielding S4 here (say, from Amazon UK)?
And if so, is the UK release date the same for both the carrier-locked and the international models?
I hear it doesn't make much difference either way in performance, but I want the better efficiency from the Exynos. - 03-20-2013, 03:10 PM

Re: Snapdragon 600 version of the S4 heading for UK
We in no way know the performance of either of these chips in the final Galaxy S 4. Nobody has any room to complain either way at this point. Do not discount the excellent Snapdragon 600.

Re: Snapdragon 600 version of the S4 heading for UK
Okay im not a big fan of benchmarks but geek bench is quite reliable, now look at this:
Galaxy S4: (QUAD CORE Snapdragon 600 @ 1.9ghz) gets 3100 on Geekbench
Nexus 10: ( Dual Core @ 1.7ghz A15 cores) gets 2500 geekbench
Now the nexus 10 has 2 less cores than the snapdragon and is clocked 200mhz lower and still it only scores 600 less than snapdragon, now 4 A15 cores will definitely he nearing 4000!
