Which one is better? The Defender? or the Commuter?

The defender is thick as hell and basically makes the device become a brick. The commuter is also fairly bulky but it offers good protection compared to other cases and most people are able to put up with the bulk. I had a commuter but eventually I realized I never drop my phone so a simple tpu case will do the job.

If you check out my review for the Defender on my YouTube channel, TheJCP006, I also compare the Defender with the Commuter. I personally like the Defender because I have dropped my GS3 because it has more protection. The additional protection having the deeper lip on the front for face first drops is very good from a protective standpoint . Bulk is all relative. I have absolutely no problem putting the GS3 in my pocket with the Defender. Check out some of the drop test videos for the Defender. Those alone in cured me of letting my phone go commando.
