Unless you're referring to real grain (wheat, etc.), I cannot see what you're talking about.

Nice shot!! To REALLY make this shot great save it. Open it in Photoshop. Check your Levels. Bring the white slider from 255 down to 217 to adjust the underexposure. Then lasso just the sofa and cat together. While lassoed drop the Filter menu and click on sharpen then Unsharp Mask. Add 175% with 0.3 radius. This lassoing/sharpening will artificially induce more depth of field into the image while at the same time sharpening only the cat and sofa.

Your cat will now POP out at you with these simple adjustments showing every hair on your beautiful cat and sharpening those brown eyes. There's many more things you can do but that's a good start.

The S4 camera has a lot of potential !! Please post more.

The fact there is no flash w/ this is incredible. How still did you have to hold the phone when taking the pic? I mean, was this a luck of the draw, first time it worked that well or was this w/ multiple takes? The fact you can take a pic w/ that low of light, w/ no flash, and have no streaking is unreal.
