I chose white with the GS3 because it initially only came out in white or blue/purple. I really didn't like the "Pebble Blue" color for the GS3 so I chose the lesser of the two evils.

Yeah, I did the "burple" - not my best color choice but was the best between that and white.

I'll be getting white since I'll be going without a case, as I always do with my phones, and it seems like it would hide the smudges/fingerprints easier than it would on the black model. I also had a white GS3 and was surprised how much I liked the look of it.

I have pre-ordered my GS4 on Verizon in white. After looking at both models at an AT&T store yesterday, the black model has a slight blue "shine" to it when bright light hits it and doesn't look pitch black. I definitely liked the white version better

I also think black phones look the best but seem to show fingerprints more! If your using a case, the white with a black case looks cool!
