I have the white S4 coming, I want to grab a nice THIN case. I'm thinking black to contrast the white, but not stuck on that. What is the thinnest case out there? I don't want see-thru or white.

thx!

I was looking at this.
Do you think it offers drop protection?
It seems a bit too thin for drop protection.
I was looking at the neo hybrid in yellow, looks sweet but three times as expensive!

You will get what you pay for but agree with you its little extra but I think I will worth every penny because it's slick and great looking case. :)

roberts68,

Drop protection... not a chance.

It is extremely thin and light though.

I just received my S-View and have a red Neo-Hybrid on order.

Will have to see which one wins out.

The Neo Hybrid is great but keep in mind that most third-party earphones/headphones may have problems fitting into the stupidly small headphone jack. I only realised this after purchasing it... almost like a deal breaker for me. Now I gotta get one of those 3.5mm extension cables.

My concern with the neo hybrid is if it will slide in and out of my pocket easily.
And is it grippy enough when holding it.
Many of the plastic cases are way to slippery.

excellent. Ordered the Neo Hybrid. Ear phone jack I'm not worried about as I always use bluetooth headsets (Jaybird).

Thanks everyone!

I have one of these coming in tomorrow. I originally ordered the S View case but ended up cancelling it because I couldn't justify the price.

I also want to be able to see the notification LED.

We got the similar Spigen "bounce" bumper case in white. I'm not crazy about it and wouldn't recommend it. The sides don't fit the phone snugly and bow out too much. The Samsung OEM bumper case is available starting tomorrow. One of the things I like about the Samsung bumper cases is they don't need cut outs on the sides for the lock and volume keys.
