    Hey All,
I know that I can press the volume button or power button in order to silence an incoming call ringtone.
I also know about the flip to silence feature, but that only works when the phone is lying on a surface.
Is there a way to do this when the phone is in my hand for example? I have a case that covers the side buttons so I need an onscreen option to do this quickly.
    Any alternative?
    Thank you kindly.

I think you can still flip the phone or just hit the ignore

    Hi,

You can enable an option which allows you to simple cover the screen with your hand and the call will be silenced!

Why would you want a case that covers the buttons? You kind of need them.

I cannot see an ignore button on my screen! Should there be one?
I tried to flip it while holding it in my hand just now and it worked! Thanks!!

Can you please point me to that setting?
    Thanks

My case covers the buttons but I can still press them, but when in a rush to silence the phone in a bad time, on screen option is quicker

Thank you All for your replies.

The setting they are referring to is located at: Settings --> My Device --> Motions and Gestures --> Select Palm Motion "on"

Click it on, but then tap the selection for 2 additional settings.
