Can any of you that have or have had a Note 2 and the S4 comment on how long the S4 battery lasts compared to a Note 2?

The N2 battery is bigger, and the screen not as high rez, so it seems like the N2 would last longer on a charge. But, in real life, does it?

I have a note2 i used gs4 for 3 days and returned. The battery on the note gets me through the day from 7am-10pm easily with 15%.
the GS4 it is dead by 6 or 7. Also, if you set screen to auto, it makes it really hard to see outside.

I'd say the Note 2 is still better from my experience, but the S4 is hardly a slouch in the battery department. These screens include 10 hours of LTE during the day.

I still get almost the same juice as I did from my Note 2 with the S4 (both devices are with Maps autolocation reporting off and Google Now off; it's crap in my Country). Just this weekend, on moderate use and always-on WiFi, I charged the S4 on saturday morning and lasted all through sunday as well. On a normal, 4G day, I go from 6AM to 10 or 11PM with 20% left.

On a VERY special note, this is with the Note 2's update to 4.1.2 + Exynos patch that REALLY broke battery life. If I compare the S4 to the original battery life of the Note 2, then no, S4 doesn't compare at all.

That's fair. I didn't have that recent update when I had the Note 2. If it is better than the S4, it's marginal.

The most I had with my Note 2 was 26 hours. Light use. 16 on medium and 10 heavy.

Right now my S4 last 12 hours/ahift so I'm happy.

This fall when NFL season starts (Steelers fan) IF I STILL HAVE THE S4, LOL is when I will find out how the S4 really compares. I Stream, Talk & Text more my Data usage goes from 2GB to over 5GB (on a 6GB plan).

Thanks, guys. Sounds like the N2 lasts significantly longer on a charge. By significant, I mean even 2 hours is significant to me.

The N2 may not have the very latest version of the OS and not have all the cool features of the S4. But, the bigger screen, longer battery life, and ability to get a used one for cheaper (off CL or whatever) means I'll probably upgrade myself to a N2 versus an S4.
