Removing Google contacts from phone?

Hi I always like to transfer contacts to a new phone using a vcard and the sd card. When I signed into google on the S4. I accidental synced my contacts to the phone. Most of them are email contacts so don't have numbers attached how do I get rid of them? I unchecked sync contacts from the gmail account and deleted them, but some still show up under contacts. I posted two pictures to try and explain better.

I've attached two pictures the first one is what show up if I click on contacts from the home screen and can be deleted. The second one show up when i click on messaging then the contacts box next to recipient and can't be deleted. Any idea how to delete them?
