Still trying to get used to this phone, but thought the Quick Glance option was intriguing...except it doesn't work. I mean I swipe my hand by the sensor and the screen slowly shows up, but shows no calls as missed, no emails , etc. But calls were intentionally missed, and I know there are 2 new emails in my Inbox.

What am I doing wrong here?!

Do the notifications show up on your notification bar with the screen unlocked?

It only shows icons for missed notifications. It will put them right in the middle. It doesn't do that? And you have air gesture turned on of course right?

Ok, I swipe my hand by and it shows: the time, date underneath. Under the date is the icon for Blocked Mode (set from 11 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.) and a new email icon (like the small icon at the top of the display). Under that it shows 0 missed calls, 0 new emails and the battery %.

Take a screenshot. Let's see what it looks like. And try turning off your blocking schedule too just to test. Here is how it's supposed to look with other notifications.

So I turned the phone off, removed the battery and waited.

Once back on, I got an email and the Quick Glance worked! Now, an hour later, email rec'd while the phone was locked and it doesn't show up in Quick Glance again.
Pfft.

Geez. Try a factory reset? Or try turning the blocking schedule off first?

duh ... I found the only way to get AIR GLANCE to work is when phone is laying on a flat surface - ---- WISH it would actually be useful when holding in my claws! Try it yourself - turn on Gestures/air gestures / Quick Glance. Sleep phone while sitting on flat surface (uh... like table) and passing hand over phone NO MORE than 3 inches - cheers
