Any way to stop Gmail from vibrating when receiving new emails?

Hi all,

I need help , I turned off vibration notification on both the Email and Gmail app settings, yet for some reason whenever i get a new email I still get a vibration on Gmail. Basically I just want the LED and message to show up in the notification bar and if I'm not on vibrate (normal sound on) I want to hear the notification sound. What I don't want is to get any vibration on every email , especially if I have to go sleep, this will keep waking me up. Again this is only happening on the Gmail app not the Samsung stock Email app which I use for my Yahoo mail.


Also my second problem is when I receive an email on my Gmail account the LED blinks, however on the Samsung Email app the LED doesn't turn on whenver there is a new email. I want the LED to turn on whenever I get any new email on both apps unless the system is limited to one app.

Me too! Posting here in hopes that I get followups. This seems to be a very ugly behavior. I must be doing something wrong.
