Volume issue when using headphone for an extended time

So while I am running after 5 minutes or so my volume will go down to 0 and if i try to press the volume rocker up i get a warning health message. Any way to disable that?

I am having the same issue and it is making me crazy! Ive reverted to listening to my ipod but I am not happy that I have to carry two devices now. Anyone have any answers??
