Yahoo e mails sent in real slow

It seems like i haveto refresh the e mails to see them come in. Is there a setting where they come in as i receive them ?

Is this using the default email app I assume? I rarely use Yahoo email (mine is just a secondary account I use for fantasy sports), so I'm not sure what protocols they offer, i.e. whether or not it is setup as POP or IMAP. If it's the former, all you can really do is tweak the frequency settings for checking, but of course, the more often you ping the server to check for mail, the more battery drain you may experience. IMAP is generally synced in real time, but I don't know if Yahoo supports it.

I actually just opt to use the Yahoo Mail app from the Play Store instead of setting up via the builtin generic email app. It syncs in real time and has near instant delivery.

Me too. The Yahoo app uses push notifications and is much better.
