S4 headphone jack sound quality opinion

I want to know what ppl think about how correct or natural it sounds. I had the s3 and note 2 and they seemed to sound like they changed the original sound. Not to bassy or anything like it doesn't sound like it's correct. It's hard to describe but voices have a different time like someone else would be singing and music sounded off. What do other ppl think about it.

I think the S4 sounds great with my in ear monitors. I use a Vsonic GR01 which is a $200 dual balanced armature in ear and the S4 sounds as good with them as the iPhone 4 it replaced. Half volume is plenty and the sound seems neutral and detailed. There is no roll off of bass or treble.
