Hi guys. I'm using a Samsung galaxy s4, and when I play games like modern combat 4,it gets too hot in the back. I want to know if I can continue playing the game or just stop it. I'm afraid of playing a game for about 1h and damage the phone. Any suggestions?

Thanks

my s4 always gets warm when playing games, more so the 3-D games so i tend to stay away from those types of games. guessing that "modern combat 4" is a FPS? so not surprising it gets hot.
not sure about if it damages the phone.

The phone will get room from constant use playing games.

The same happens to my S4 and my past devices. It also happens to my iPad.

So there's nothing to worry about.

This. Games cause phones to draw more graphics than normal and they heat up... Just like a video card in a computer is very cool then can heat up a ton when playing a game. (Example: my two GTX 580s in my PC idle at 40C. During game load they are at 75C.)

Besides, phones nowadays have a feature that, when the phone gets too hot, it shuts it down.

The hottest my phone ever got before shutting down instantly was 178?F.

Don't ask me how I got it that hot.

Nooooooo, fine, I'll spill it. :p

- Charging my extended battery
- Using my 4G to update Google+
- On the phone with someone
- Texting friends
- Phone was charging on a blanket
