Links opening previous browser window issue

Just picked up a S4 and i love it. Only issue im having is when i click on a link (gmail, sms, etc), about half the time it will open the page the link is directed to. The other half it will open my previous window or go to google home page. I messed with Gmail settings, browser settings, and phone settings but i cant seem to find a way to fix this. It happens on default browser and Chrome. I tried on both wifi and 4g. I cleared cache also. Wondering if anyone is having this same issue and if there is a fix or a setting im missing somewhere. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Another question regarding Light Flow and NoLed. I know about the issues with certain notifications and Samsung/Google Talk Back. If i root my phone will i be able to fully use either of these two apps?
