Smart Scroll on Gmail?

I understand that the Smart scroll, smart Pause, etc... Only work with the factory apps of the GS4. When I use the yahoo mail via the native e-mail app (not the Yahoo app) the Smart Scroll works. However when I use the Gmail App that was part of the factory installed Apps, the Smart Scroll doesn't work for me. Is anyone else having the same issue? I guess I will have to setup my Gmail via the native app, but not sure if this will affect the push response time. (I find that Gmail e-mails come in faster than accounts on the native e-mail app).

Just been a total babe and tested for you. I also don't have smart scroll working on stock GMAIL app. I think it's only stock, and specific, samsung applications that allow smart scroll. One thing that amazes me is how far I can have my finger away from the screen and it still senses it! about 3 inches and it's still picking it up! it's so much fun, ahha
