Widgets on locks creep help!

I'm trying to maximise dash clock Widget on my lock screen do I don't have to drag it to see my emails texts etc. Is there a way? I tried widget locker but it won't let me maximise it when resizing. Instead it just makes the space bigger.

Any help will be much appreciated.
