Hi All,

How do I remove the apps that came with the phone i.e. carrier specific apps that can't be removed the normal way.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply ;-)

I have read about rooting but don't have much knowledge of it, could you explain or direct me somewhere with easy instructions to understand?

Thanks

Go to application manager and disable the apps you don't want to use

Hi 20blks,

I get the disabling part, but I would prefer to completely remove apps that I am not able to use or would never use ;-)

Hi 20blks,

You can't remove without rooting. Rooting voids warranty, prevents getting critical updates and risks bricking your phone. I've done it with my older Droid Charge but personally would not with a newer still carrier supported phone.

Your choice of course, but if you do the disable trick, then mark them hidden in the app drawer, they'll be out of sight out of mind.

I haven't looked for rooting info for this phone so can't answer that.
