I have an S4, coming from a S3. When I am in the native browser and back out of it it doesn't close the app (when I check task manager I see it is still open) as it did on my S3. Is there a setting that needs to be adjusted in the native browser app that will allow it so close when backed out?

Thanks in advance for all your assistance!!

Most apps will sit in the background like that. Some will have an exit or close menu choice but you'll still see them sitting in task manager. That's just how android handles things.

You would have to hit the back key until it closes. There's nothing wrong with it running in the background and it doesn't eat battery. The android system will eventually turn it off on it's own.
