Red face using folders on the app screen

I'm a bit technologically challenged so I may be missing something simple here. I created a folder on my app screen and now I can't figure out how to either add apps to it or delete it. Anyone know how to do either? Thanks for any help!

Drag apps into it to place them. To delete it, hold out, and at the top it will say remove. Just drag it there. Hope I helped
