Big Font on text messages

Trying to figure this out guys hope you know. Its my fathers phone and his text messages are coming through as huge fonts as well as when he types. It is the stock messaging app .Went to setting but couldnt figure it out. Any help would be appreciated

Try using volume keys to change font sizes. HTH.

Ha ha that happened to my aunt with her S3 Mini! Funny how simple the problem is but what a pain in the *** it is as well

you sir are a god amongst men,or maybe im just retarded either way volume button worked

You can go into messages settings and take that volume/text size feature off if you want as well

I tried this and didn't work. Still have large font size on texts. Have tried changing through font setting but went to volume and couldn't do

Thanks a lot!! I had tried looking at all sorts of settings..and I was wondering how the big fonts suddenly came up. Now, I realise that it must have been the volume key!!
