Galaxy S4(running 4.3) and S view display

Hi. I updated my S4 I9500 yesterday and saw a change in the S view display. There seems to be an ash colored bar where all the notifications stay. Earlier I suppose the bar was black in color, Not liking this change! Any fix? Rest with the update having any similar situation or its only with mine? Attached an image.

It's been ash colored on my phone before the update. Even my former GS3 was like that after the JB update.
