Beeping while charging is driving me nuts!

When I plug in my GT-I9505 to charge, after about two minutes, it starts beeping with a double beep sound about every second. Someone suggested that this wasn't a phone issue, but third-party software. But I am interested to note that the beeping occurs exactly as the lightning bolt flashes in the battery charging icon at the top of the screen.

This only occurs when the phone is on and placed on the charger.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

My friend had a similar problem I think what he did was in accessibility unchecked talkback and his problem was solved.It might help u.

It sounds like you have a defective charger or charge port and it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. Is the double beeping the same sound as when you plug it in or the same sound as full charge or something different?

I have a workmate having the same problem when charging a new S5. I have just noticed that she is not using a genuine charger. I connected mine - no beeping - hooked it up to an aftermarket USB adapter and plugged it into my car - no beeping. Sound like a crook or non compatible charger to me.
