When using the browser (both the stock app and Chrome), I find that when I (try to) close either of them by pressing the back key, that they still remain active in the task manager. It only happens with these two apps, and I don't have a problem with anything else.
Is there something that keeps it from closing fully, because it gets a bit tedious and annoying having to kill the process every time as I get a little iffy if there's something running in the back draining my battery. Hopefully I haven't just missed something simple here and made myself look stupid.
Thanks
EDIT: I just saw a similar somewhat dead thread, saying that some apps just sit in the task manager, and doesn't actually drain battery. I'm curious as to why it's the browser apps that's doing this, and why would it not eat battery?
