Hi everyone.
I just upgraded from a Droid Razr to a new Samsung Galaxy S4. It has Android 4.3.
I've been through many forums and read many complaints about Wifi never connecting correctly or dropping frequently. I am NOT having that problem. My problem is that when arriving at work or at my house, the Wifi doesn't automatically connect (am I missing a setting somewhere or should my phone do this automatically?). My Droid Razr always did. If I go to the network (which says saved, secured under it) and click on it, it says it's connecting, but it never connects. If I turn off the Wi-fi and turn it back on, it is instantly connected as it should be.
Is there any way to make this work automatically without having to turn the Wifi on and off? I am afraid I will sometimes forget and then rack up data charges. Is there a setting where I can make it so the phone only downloads updates when attached to Wifi? At least then that would guard against wasting that data connected to 4G.
Thanks,
Jesilynk
