Mhl charging

I know that it uses more power because of pushing it to the tv and powering the phone. But I'm using the official charger that came with my s4 and the battery goes quickly.

It's running the screen, brightness is all the way down to 0 and whatever I'm doing and I want to know is there a way to either get the screen darker without darkening the mirror(screen filter darkens the mirrored) or just shut off the backlight completely? Or is there a charger that will charge and do the mhl power also?

MHL adapters usually have a charging port on them.. You connect the charger to the MHL & then MHL to the TV & it should charge your phone as your streaming on the TV. I have the OEM from Samsung I picked up for $40.00 & it works just fine!
