I am using an unlocked korean galaxy S4 (model: SHV-E330s) but it works like any S4. I updated my phone through kies but the firmware failed so I did an emergency firmware recovery which failed too leaving me in emergency/recovery mode. The screen has a yellow triangle and a message saying, " firmware upgrade encountered an issue, please select recovery mode in kies and try again." My phone is stuck on this screen and I can't boot to android os. My phone is non-rooted. Some people have suggested odin/flashing before but I have ZERO experience in this stuff and fears I may brick my phone even more.
I have also tried doing firmware upgrade and initialization but it doesn't work every time it gets to updating the firmware so it has to be a problem with the firmware/kies
